Let us get to know Yohanna better!
Year of birth: 27 year, 1996
Something I am particularly proud of is having taken my self-trained horse to the Breeders field competition as a 4-year-old last year and was third best. Also this year with incredibly fine performances qualified for the Breeders field competition once again but now as a five-year-old.
Tell us something unexpected and funny about yourself : I have an incredibly bad memory when it comes to everything besides the horses and when it comes to keeping track of several courses at the same time, I never miss a beat. Pepper pepper!
Which product is your favorite so far among Fair Horse Care’s products?
“Then I have to raise the hoof oil! Not only because it gives a nice surface to the hooves, but because it also lasts fantastically well and feels like it’s useful. Uses the hoof oil and survival balm daily for the corners of the mouth.”
I am a determined and bubbly girl with a lot of things going on besides the horses. I have my dog Charles-Ingvar who has been in my life for 10.5 years, who is usually with me everywhere and cheers me on a lot at competitions. I`m raised in Surahammar and today I have my business there, and where I receive horses for boarding, training and sales. I’ve been around horses all my life and started my career at 8 years old with a scruffy shetland pony who couldn’t do anything. I learned the hard way and fell off more than I sat on many days. It created an interest in slightly more crazy horses and that interest still lasts today. In addition to that, I was interested in jumping in the beginning and it wasn’t until later that I got into the field competition world and have been hooked ever since. I am passionate about training young horses and learning everything related to the sport.
What are your goals with your horses going forward?
With my five-year-old Nasse, I have continued the Breeders as a goal for the coming year and also the young horse WC in the eventing. Continue educating safely forward and move us up in the classes. The idea is to come out to a little more dressage and jumping classes in the future. I have a horse in the stable that is also 5 years old for longer cooperation, which will eventually enter some jumping competitions. Have more horses in the stable that are under training and riding.
If you dream big, what do you dream about?
Of course, I dream of becoming as good as I can be! Being able to participate in a championship again on a big horse and get as high as possible in the classes. A dream had been to go far in all disciplines – Dressage, jumping and eventing.
How do you feel about working with us at Fair Horse Care?
I am incredibly grateful and excited! Feels great to have the chance to grow together with Fair Horse Care & see where everything leads.
